Front (north) side of three water tube boilers built by the Heine Safety Boiler Co. of St. Louis, Missouri in 1917; rebuilt in 1938. Upper front doors cover water header and inspection plugs for water tubes. Smaller doors beneath open into firebox. Boilers were fired on natural gas before retirement in 1980 and operated at approximately 150psi.
